Problem statement
Today, I saw a friend talking about “living like a man ", I do not understand. Are men more independent, more autonomous, and stronger than women? Are women dependent on others? In fact this is not about the case, independence, autonomy, and strong are just characters, but not about gender issues. This can be reflected in the consciousness of most people, and even can be said to discriminate against women.

Why does Wal-Mart give less promotion opportunity to women? If women have the same ability and productivity with men, will Wal-Mart give them equal chances? The root of fewer opportunities for women to promote is conflict interest. Because the physiological mechanism of men and women is not the same, women are generally weak body, and when they birth of their children, the body is affected. In this process women are more likely to get sick. Childbearing on the impact of the body is also large. And according to the law, when women are pregnant and during suckling period, the organization not only cannot fire the employee but also has to offer more welfare to the employee. The company has to pay a lot during the process. Moreover, in traditional mind, women contribute more time and energy to take care of her family and her children; in contrast, they left less time and energy to work. It is a common belief that women cost more than man employees in an organization. Because it is well-known that lots of women be late to work, and sometimes they have to stay at home to fulfill her child-raising obligations. So, the company may have to recruit someone to replace temporarily for the women, and then the cost is significantly goes up. Compared to women, male employees get more profits to company and they cost less, so Wal-Mart inclined to recruit man candidates more.
