Professor Cheryl Elliott Functional Roles of Managers at Walgreens Management has been described as a social process involving responsibility for economical and effective planning and regulation of operation of an enterprise in the fulfillment of given purposes. It is a dynamic process consisting of various elements and activities like operative functions like, marketing, finance, and purchase etc. According, to (George & Jerry, 2014), they mentioned that there are four fundamental functions of management. As, for other management duties that Walgreen provides are excellent communication skills, take pride in assisting customers if they have questions and have good leadership. In ethical sense, Walgreens managers also gives staff and employees to have good organizational skills, establish a good understanding and also have good planning. (Walgreen, Charles 2014), Walgreens has established about 7,000 stores, which approximately 425 drugstores and managers in each division has developed a lot of careers and corporates and also gives excellent employment for everyone. Managers hire their own local team to fill all different positions like photo specialist, beauty clerk, customer service, stock person, and an internship position. Walgreens, also provides health insurance like 401K, family leave, pension plan, and also medical leave. In conclusion, these are some of the ethical issues of what managers do and how management works and it describes the concepts of what the company is all about and in society how it is very difficult and opening stores.
