After attending the Claim Town Hall Meeting with Mike Bran and the CCS Department Meeting with Kevin La Croix I was able to observe Travelers leadership in action. Through innovation, the future looks bright, which keeps me motivated and drives my ethic. I would like to one day participate in these innovations and be able to contribute to their implementation throughout the enterprise. With that being said, after taking hundreds of calls from distraught customers at the scene of an auto accident, I have started to discover some key trends. I believe with focusing on some of these trends with the use of technology, the customer experience at Travelers can be further enhanced. One of the trends that I have personal experienced consistently throughout my calls is that the customers want to be able to send a photo to me the CSR, of the damages to their vehicle. Unfortunately, the CSR’s are not able to receive that information. I believe customers would like to have the ability to send these photos in at the FNOL because the customer feels a lack of an emotional connection over the phone. By giving the customer this capability it will provide the customer with a sense of instant gratification. I have learned in my short time here at Travelers that being focused, determined, and engaged in my job will lead to more and more opportunities. My drive and personal sacrifice has led to me to earning an incentive for being a top performer for the third quarter, and being a top performer for the year. In addition, after hurricane Harvey I received an incentive for being available and committed to our customers. Furthermore, I have been able to provide additional services for my manager, my team, and my department. I have been gifted the opportunity to be trained in Business insurance which has expanded my productivity for numerous customers. I was given the opportunity to assist the hiring manger by giving on the job experience to new hires, which later turned into more opportunities. I value the opportunity I was given to become a stand in leader for CCS for much of the day. These are some of the opportunities that I have been able to grow from.
