I woke up early, got ready, and ran to the car ready to hike. As I peered out the window, I could feel the sun hit my face. I wondered to myself why we were going to hike during the hottest part of the day. My mom said to me, “ put sunscreen on your face and drink some water before we get to Diamond Head.” I really didn't want to, but I said with a soft voice, “okay.”’ After thirty minutes of trying to find a place to park, we finally started our journey to the top. While we were hiking up Diamond Head mountain, the view was breathing taking better than anything before. The hike was tough like waiting to the last minute to write a research paper.
