A song that sang about the kind of nightmare only two teenagers in love could wake up to having fallen asleep together at the movies and having to face angry parents and curious friends.
The Everly Brothers were favorites for they harmonious singing and doo-wop style. Their first big hit was “Bye Bye Love” but it didn’t make it to number one. I don’t know about anyone else but personally by favorite version of “Bye Bye Love” was by Simon and Garfunkel.
