Waitresses and waiters should get paid minimum wage because they have bills to pay and some have families to take care of too. Also they do more than just serve at the restaurant they work at they have side jobs too. Sometimes the restaurant is slow and you don't make a lot of money in tips. Therefore it is hard to pay their bills. Some people also do not tip the amount they are supposed to. Waitress and waiters work just as hard as hard as everyone else, so why do they get paid less?
