Waco Shopping Experience

When I was in preschool, I had the opportunity to be a part of WACO shopping. Woodfield Area Children’s Organization (WACO) is a volunteer-nonprofit organization and each year around Christmas time, they travel to local Walmarts and host shopping events for preschoolers in low-income areas and provide each child with eighty dollars to spend. Two teenagers were assigned to push me around in the shopping cart while looking for the objects my family filled out in the Christmas list. I remember this so clearly because it was such an exhilarating event for me. I remember the teenagers being so helpful and making this shopping trip joyful for me as well as for themselves.
