Today was a day that I will never be able to get out of my memory, no matter how hard I try. It will always come back one way or another. I am not happy with what I saw but as a P.F.C. in the U.S. Army, I am supposed to be trained to have a thick brain with these types of environments. Even after witnessing all the horrors in the trenches of WW1, we were all in a huge state of shock. The things that were done to these people are so inhumane that it took a while for most of us to process what was going on and what had happened to these innocent people. “I will continue to wonder what this world would be like if those 6 million had never perished” (Frank Towers).
