According to Cambridge dictionary, Weapons of Mass Destruction or abbreviated as WMD are weapons which have two key features: massive and high-scale destruction toward infrastructures as well as killing many people. Nuclear weapons, chemical weapons, and biological weapons are three things categorized as WMD. Currently, the nuclear weapons are significantly developed. Countries compete with each other to develop nukes to show which country has the biggest power. Laura Reed in her explanation about WMD stated that there are approximately nine countries currently owning nuclear weapons, which include United Kingdom, United States, Russia, China, France, India, Pakistan, Israel, and DPRK.
