WIOA Positive Practice

There were two positive and promising practices identified during the review, which will support the State’s implementation of WIOA in general, and the performance-related requirements of WIOA in particular.
Positive Practice #1: The due diligence of State staff relative to implementing the changes required as a result of the 2009 comprehensive review is to be commended.

The record review results for WIA and TAA yielded the fewest discrepancies ever experienced by the review team (i.e., four discrepancies in fifty records) and are demonstrative of the level of commitment and due diligence of State staff.
