WAIP Benefits

Since I started attending OSU, I have been using my active duty husband’s GI/Post 9-11 benefits in order to pay for my tuitions. In addition, I have also been filing Financial aid to pay for daily costs, such as gas, food, and school supplies that the military benefit could not cover. My husband and I have planned the number of semester according to the amount and time the military benefit would cover my schooling costs. I want to say that we did a great job, but this opportunity to fellowship in D.C. through WAIP has push our plan to an additional semester to which we did not account for. I have used up all military available benefits and I could have just graduated in Spring ’17 with my class, however, the opportunity to be part of WAIP
