W. E. B. Du Bois played a huge role to the Harlem Renaissance. He was the editor of the magazine called The Crisis for 24 years. He was the co-founded of the (NAACP) the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People), this organization is still active till this day.
The Crisis was a platform for the Harlem Renaissance and open the doors for several well-known writers of the movement, like Claude McKay and Langston Hughes.
