The Behind the Scenes of Vystar Credit Union’s Internet banking The evolution of Internet banking has revolutionized the banking industry since its inception. It has quickly transformed long lines and wait times with only the click of a button. By doing so, members can access troves of information without ever stepping foot into a regional office. Stepping into the 21st century, perspective/current members and bank trustees are quickly realizing just how important internet banking is. Regardless if we are speaking in terms of server or client-side hardware, in the computer age several similar items exist. While each piece of hardware may not be required, there are a couple key pieces of equipment that must be utilized for information to transfer. In regards to the server-side, the following components may be used: computers, disk drives, hubs, switches and routers to name a few. Usually, the server side uses several of these devices. Since the amount of information is constantly interacting with users, it’s important for Vystar Credit Unions hardware to be vastly expansive. However, one could imagine several file based server’s exist within the organization. The requirements are as follows, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer must be installed on the client’s piece of hardware for access. Next, members must have internet access with a connection speed higher than 56kbps, and a browser that supports encryption. While Internet speed is acceptable, for a more effective experience it’s recommended that users increase connection speeds.
