Volleyball has been played for over 100 years. The game of volleyball has been changed several times science William G. Morgan invented it back in 1895. He was a graduate from Springfield, Illinois college of the YMCA. The name of the game has been changed three times. Volleyball is now played all around the world.
William G. Morgan is the son of George Henry Morgan and Nancy Chatfield. He was born in Lockport, New York, United States on January 23, 1870. He was the oldest and most intelligent of his siblings. William later then, married Mary Kind Chatfield. After, he had 4 children of his own. During college, he meet James Naismith. William created volleyball just four years after James Naismith created basketball.
