Volleyball Player-Personal Narrative

You feel the nerves jumping back and forth as you walk on the court, the sweat dripping drop by drop from the hard work you have put in to the match. You also watch the player’s faces glow up from some play that you remember verbatim, these reasons show truly why you love something. The last whistle blows, as we walk off the court with a career ending defeat. An impending storm of emotions was about to hit each and every single one of us on the team. That night reminded myself about my true passion for the game of volleyball. I have made some unforgettable memories and friendships over the years however, one player has made such an impact in my life and that is Addy DeMaine.
