Unfortunately all of the best laid plans can change in a second; a few short months into my freshman year in high school, my mother lost her job and we had to move into an apartment and a new school district. It was difficult on so many levels: I had to leave friends that I had known since middle school, and I had to enter a new social enviroment that evolved over years, with neuiences that only a teenager can understand. I had to deal with losing out on credits attained at my previous high school since the new school did not carry or pick up others that I had never heard off. I worked very hard and was put on varsity as a sophomore, which was a very big deal for me. That sophomore year I improved as both a volleyball player and as an athlete. My coach was devoted to getting me to be the greatest volleyball player that I could be. At the end of the season my coach told me that he was leaving his position and moving to coach at another school. I was devastated. This coach that ,had taught me so much ended up leaving me in the dust. So I just put my mind on impressing the new coach at the following year's
