From being underwater to on land, volcanoes are all around. How do volcanoes affect people and the environment? Volcanoes spread ash, rock, and lava for miles once they erupt. The soil that becomes after volcanic explosions are often the richest soils on Earth. The land from what you can see around a volcano is a wonderful sight people say.
