Vocal Pedagogical Experiment

I have often questioned is it possible to teach someone to have relative pitch. To test this possibility I carried out a vocal pedagogical experiment to investigate pitch-testing methods used by Sean Hutchins to examine whether relative pitch can be improved over time by putting Hutchins pedagogy to the test.

Interview One Hypothesis

My hypothesis is that I believe it is possible to improve one’s pitch by using correct exercises, which help improve the student’s cognitive sensory skills. I will test my hypothesis by conducting an experiment using the novel method to investigate the relationship between the ability to perceive and vocal imitate pitches used by Hutchins and Peretz (2012).
