Vocal Discussion Strategies

Improved Essays
Over my college career I always valued the students that dominated a vocal discussion. It gave the sense of relief that my chances of getting called on were slim. The problem I always faced with this strategy is when we did discuss something I felt passionate about it made it harder for me to speak out. Without developing that relationship by speaking out when you finally do I always felt students could develop a false opinion on me by just a single thought. Instead of getting to know my character through many open discussion. That’s why I feel it is necessary for the teacher to make the entire class active in the discussion.
