Decent Essays
I think that Vivien Thomas is a hero. I think that because he saved a baby that was blue to its normal color. He also saved 1,000 of babies. That is a good man. He probably became famous for helping babies survive. In the story it said that Blalock QUICKLY REALIZED that Thomas was EXTRAORDINARILY GIFTED. The other doctors that were better than other doctors even watched him. They even were in a room with him and watch him give surgery on a BABEY. He was a gifted man. I would feel proud if I was him and I bet he does feel proud of himself because even today he is still remembered. I also think he is so busy. He had to be busy helping all of those babies. He helped 1,000 babies. The story said he died in 1985, but his LEGACY lives

Some people do not know that they are even someone’s hero. When a person has the power to stand strong and fight for what they believe in they too can be a hero. These are the type of people that give others hope and save lives each and every day. Heroes can be everyday people, such as a teacher; who teaches kids the everyday essentials of life to grow and be a better person, a parent; who guides and raise their children and protect their children, and even a janitor or trash man; people that help keep the environment clean for our safety and…
