Over the years, it has been clearly seen that the active rate of most people has drastically decreased, especially in teens. As the rate rises, teens no longer find a need for being physically active or exercising, and miss out on all of the benefits like strong muscle gain, improvements to their outer features such as skin, and even mental health. Exercising can lead to many good tings and can be very helpful for young teens only because the effects are long lasting. First, your muscles are a very important part of your body. Due to the amount of calories they will burn by having strong muscles, they will lose weight (with a little more working out) and get into good shape. Secondly, everyone wants that soft and clear looking skin. In fact, good skin is sought after by almost every age of women and men. Some people will even pay top dollar for the best and highest quality of skin care products just because having good skin is so important to them. Well exercising has a better solution. Again, according to "How do regular exercises benefit teen," by Dan Brennan, "As exercise boosts oxygen to the skin, it also helps increase the natural production of collagen, the connective tissue that plumps the skin...the skin will glow because of the increase in blood flow" (7). Being active is a great way to keep even their outer appearance looking sharp. It is also a great way to keep teens confident about their skin. Lastly, going through changes over the years of their lives is a normal thing. Everyone goes through it and things get harder, especially in teenage years.
