Similarly to UCHealth, Viterbo University has core values that guide the students in everything that we do on campus and in the community, that we represent and demonstrate for life beyond graduation. One value that both UCHealth and Viterbo hold is that of service. This value I hold close to my heart and find the most rewarding because I can practice it in everything I do in my social life, as well as my professional life as a nurse. Everything that nursing encompasses is service. Providing care to others is one of the greatest service experiences that I have encountered in my life.
