Reflection
- [ ] During class, we have been studying the novel “So Much to Tell You” by John Marsden. My chosen theme is ‘Hiding your true self’; we cannot show our whole self because there are parts of our behaviours, personalities that wouldn’t bold well with maintaining appearances for social gathering and connections. Therefore hiding your true self is easy than being judge. In the novel ‘so much to tell you’; Lisa is a strong girl who hides her emotions to protect herself from others judgement at the dorm. My visual representation includes why we wear mask to hide and what leads us to hide our emotions. To represent this theme I wanted to make my visual representation very meaningful, so I choose to do a painting using colours, symbols and reading gaze and a quote from the novel to explore my theme.

My weakness was making my visual representation more meaningful. I would like to improve the use of colours in my visual representation in future.
- [ ] In conclusion, we wear mask all of us do, but it is not a real reflection of who we are when we are around certain people. We wear mask or hide our true self to fit in society without being judged by others.
