Introduction
Research into the use of visual literacy and their impact on the reading comprehension of Deaf students, including students from culturally diverse backgrounds, is an interesting study regarding to visible thinking approach in visual literacy education. The study carried out with (number) Deaf students in (number) from primary school to post-secondary school located in a middle-socioeconomic areas on the New York City sought to discover whether learning how to read through learning visual literacy increased Deaf students’ literacy achievement. The International Visual Literacy Association and the uses of visual resources present meaning in multiple ways-visual images, photograph, Whiteboard tool, and
