I would most certainly classify myself as a visual learner, more specifically the “school of hard knocks” visual learner. I notice that I learn the best from mistakes I see being made in both myself and others because I am highly motivated to not repeat them. The problem is that making mistakes throughout life is not desirable because some things can only be learned once, such as proper driving procedures or gun safety. Thus, I need to try different ideas out when I am young and can afford to make lesser mistakes. When it comes to visuals, I am very fond of them. While the topic is very controversial, I find the idea of cloning organisms and the ability to create inheritable disease-free babies through CRISPR/Cas9 to be very fascinating and I would hope that I can contribute to human welfare in an ethical, yet effective
