Visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic are all different types of learners. A visual learner is someone who prefers to see and visualize information. An auditory learner is someone who prefers to listen to information rather than seeing it. A reading/writing learner prefers to interact more with the text that they are readying. Lastly a kinesthetic learner is someone who prefers to do things more hands on. For example I consider myself to be a visual and kinesthetic learner. As a visual learner I enjoy taking notes using charts graphs and pictures. When I am in geology I like to draw the picture that she put up on the board to help me study.
