Vista Adult Day Care Observation Report

As I made my way into Vista Adult Day Care in Maywood California, it was a narrow space for the large amount of people that were inside. As I waited for the interview with the director of this program, Eugenio Venegas, I observed how joyous people looked. At nine in the morning, the seniors in the center were very active doing their weekly swap meet gathering. On this day, the people in this program are allowed to bring anything they wish to sell among themselves, it ranged from clothes, blankets and objects. Those who wouldn’t bring anything to sell could either shop if they wish to do so, or engage in other activities such as eating, playing card games and meet up with the nurse to take their blood pressure.
