1. Virtue Ethics – Virtue ethics is about the moral values, which directs the person towards good behavior. List of the moral values may be different for individuals across time. According to Chiquita, its motive was to protect the lives of the employees and their families by making protecting payments to the paramilitary group. It didn’t lay off the workers and close the operations in Colombia. Chiquita would have definitely won the trust of its employees by its actions. But what could have been the moral value behind the decision? Was it the safety of the employees and their future or its Chiquita’s self-interest in financial profits? Based on Chiquita’s moral responsibility towards all of its stakeholders, which includes employees as well
