Virginia Tech’s emphasis on diversity can be displayed through its large variety of students and faculty. I intermingle with these distinct groups of individuals daily, so the Communication Skills 1015 class lesson in cultures helped me to better understand others’ backgrounds and ways of life. Because each of us have different experiences and traditions, a vague sentence can have different meanings depending on who is interpreting it.
