For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to attend North Dakota State University. My dad and sister are NDSU alumni, so furthering my education where they did provides us with a unique bond. Additionally, not many of my relatives attended college, allowing me to see the difficulties in providing for oneself and family without a college degree. Although I know the next seven years are going to be challenging, extremely strenuous, and will push me to the edge of my comfort zone, the satisfaction of administering medical services to those who need them will make it worthwhile. Not only will I be able to care for others with a Pharm.…

Since I have moved to Blacksburg, Virginia Tech has truly been the only university that my eyes and ears have been open to. There is also the fact that the Hokie Birds scattered all through Main Street, and the amount of people in my school sporting Tech gear, is difficult to ignore. What attracted me to Virginia Tech first and foremost, was the sporting. The students around me always got excited for the games, and I personally enjoyed seeing Burnt orange and Chicago maroon all over Blacksburg. The way the students and the community came together during sports made me happy and I couldn’t help but feel pride in living in Blacksburg.…

My primary reason for wanting to transfer to The University of Virginia, aside from genuinely desiring to attend the University that several of my good friends attend, is that I wish to participate in the Aerospace Engineering program—for which there is no comparable program at VCU. Thus far, commuting to VCU and taking engineering, mathematics and physics courses related to my intended major(s) of Mechanical Engineering and Physics has been exhilarating, and has helped to solidify my interest in engineering. This passion to innovate and discover in the realm of Aerospace Engineering prompted my need to change…
