"Come on, Virgil! You have to be faster! Or that, thing, might get us... "
A tiny silhouette dashing between tress. A terrier chasing after. Something on their trail.
"I'm sorry, Virgil. Once we get home I won't yell at you anymore. I promise!"

When she saw that Virgil was peeing on her pillow, again, she couldn't help but throw her glass of water at him. Scared stuff by the sudden yelling by his owner, then startled by a splash of water from the glass that shattered next to him, Virgil sprinted out of the room and through the doggy door leading outside the house.

"I... Virgil..."
Panic set in. Not knowing what to do, the little girl darted out of the house and chased after her dog.
Having been yelled at and almost hit by a flying object, Virgil ran once more as he saw his owner fly out of the house and run towards him.

However, after the mass buyout and departure from so many town members and businesses, everyone knew it was a matter of time before they wouldn't be able to live in their little town.
"I think I finally convinced my folks to sell. This will probably be the last time I'll be able to come out and hunt here."
"What do you think they're going to do with this place? Think the rumors about the old mine having some sort of previous mineral is true?"
"Honestly, I couldn't care less. I already found this great house in the city. I'm just waiting to see what you and your family decided on. But now that I know they finally gave in I can leave without much
