Virgil Tieken Character Analysis

My grandfather,Virgil Tieken, is a very remarkable person. He has accomplished many jobs in his life that would bring one to believe that he is very noteworthy. From being in the military, playing AAA baseball, taking care of my grandmother after her two strokes she had, climbing on the roof and fixing it in his age of 80. Whenever he starts a project he always finishes it. Never leaving a project undone, Virgil always has something new to show when you go and visit. . My grandfather, Virgil Tieken, is a very remarkable person and has had a large impact on my life. To begin, Virgil Tieken started his hard working ability when he was seventeen. He started playing baseball from a young age. Recruited by Army, he played baseball for their team for a total of three years. Even though he never faced combat, he played in places like Germany for the Army team. After he was in the military he went on to playing AAA baseball. Playing third baseman and catcher, Virgil would always try his best to work well for and with his team. On the last team he played for, he was traded for Bob Uecker, who is the sportscaster for the Milwaukee Brewers. After …show more content…
He played in the minors in baseball and he played for Army. He takes care of my grandmother and shows that you need to take care of others and make sure they are comfortable before you are. You should always put others before yourself and work diligent for what you want. Finally, he always works hard for what he has and what projects he puts together to make his house look exceptional for anyone who comes to visit. He is the hardest working person you will meet. Moreover, He is one of the kindest and generous you will meet too. He has always had the proclivity to put other people first before himself. He is the most remarkable influence in my life and he is a very notable person and should be known by anyone who works hard and takes care of
