Violet And Titus's Relationships In Feed

Technology affects Violet and Titus’s relationship with their problems, how Titus’s friends feel about Violet, and her slowly dying throughout the book. Technology plays a huge role in the characters lives and relationships in Feed. At birth most children are given what’s called the feed which is basically a smartphone in your head. This affects many relationships in Feed, such as Violet and Titus’s relationship. Titus and Violet’s relationship is affected by the feed such as, their problems, Titus’s friends’ feelings on Violet, and how throughout the book the feed slowly kills her.
The feed affects what Violet and Titus’s problems are and the outcome of them in the book. Some problems Violet and Titus experience are his doubts on how smart Violet thinks he is and how their families feel about them being together. Violet grew up home schooled and got the feed when she was 7. She knows more about the world around her than most people. Without the feed many of their problems wouldn’t exist, like Titus feeling dumb and his dad being a jerk to Violet. The feed also affected how Titus’s friends felt about Violet. They didn’t like her since she was brought up without the technology she had so she knew more and spoke differently. The feed also killed Violet in the end. She had many malfunctions since the moon hack, these had escalated so much it killed her. While this was happening Titus was able to block her out and ignore her by deleting her messages.
