Many will write that it causes aggression, and many have write that it does not. Studies that look past aggression, and instead upon various mental effects deserve mentioning. An article was written by Christopher Ferguson, a psychologist professor from Stetson University. His research on violent video games had an unexpected result. He found no support that violent video games lead to aggressive behavior. Indeed he even found that they had a positive effect, as they improved visuospatial cognition.
