That’s when the raging guitar kicked in, and Violent New Breed seized the stage. The band automatically set the demeanor for the concert, showing everyone there that they were there to play some rock n roll, by utilizing dialogue from the movie Big Trouble In Little China as a creative lead in to their opening song.
Violent new Breed is a fairly new band from Los Angeles California. More importantly it is the dream and the vision of Ex-Escape The Fate bassist and Co-founder Max Green. Green as the lead vocalist enlisted the help of Mikey Alfero on guitar, Brent Ashley on bass, Glen Craig on drums, and Dallas Williams as the touring rhythm guitarist to bring kick-ass music to old, and new fans alike.

Charisma, and energy are definitely two qualities a frontman needs to be successful, which Green displayed perfectly. He engaged with the crowd, and often moved around on stage.
Songs like “Casket Dream” seemed to be a crowd favorite with it’s catchy chorus, and Halloween themed lyrics. I mean who doesn’t love a good song about dead girls? Each song had it’s own niche, but it was apparent that they were all meticulously put together to create an amazing product. “Only The Strong Survive” displayed Max’s ability to scream, giving a heavy impact, not just musically, but lyrically as well. It’s influential lyrics seemed to easily shine a light on the struggles he faced to be able to make this dream a reality. I feel like this is the song that fans could connect to the most.
Violent New Breed closed their set off with Devil’s Deal, my personal favorite song of the night. The band infused good dynamics with how Max’s voice starts off low and appealing in the verses before it explodes into something wicked, and dominant for the chorus. The background “whoas” provided by Brent, and Dallas give off a sense of depth that makes the chorus more
