Violence is playing a game of Russian Roulette. When we hurt anyone physically or mentally we’re firing the gun. When we hurt ourselves we’re firing the gun. Whenever we commit an act of violence we take the risk of it being the real bullet. Why do we take the risk of shooting ourselves or others when instead we could simply not play the cruel game of violence? Unfortunately we all pick up the gun and decide to play the game. Acts of violence are part of our everyday lives no matter if they’re noticeable or not.

People’s words and actions towards you can lead a person to their own violent despair just as it had led me to the knife drawer in the middle of the night, inflicting violence upon myself as a stem from someone’s own violent acts. Violence can corrupt the average man’s thoughts and poison them with the cruel torment that violence can bring upon yourself and others.
