October 1st, 2017, one of the deadliest US shooting came to be. A man by the name of Stephen Paddock let loose fire on a concert of 22,000 people. He was staying at the hotel overlooking the concert. The people close to him had no idea he had any tendencies to do something so vicious. He killed at least 59 and wounded about 500.Have you ever seen something on the news and been completely struck with emotions? Have you ever seen the violence someone brought into the world and felt so vulnerable? Violence seems to be more of a norm lately. People feel an emotion and go with it. Raph was elected chief but, Jack wasn't very happy about it. Raph build his leadership to create a civilized society. Jack wanted the complete opposite... he gained trust of some of the people who used to be part of Ralph's group. From that point on, Ralph and Jack were in constant feud. Jack was obsessed with killing for food as Ralph's main priority was to find a way to be rescued. This created a real need for sanity on the island. Jack's obsession with power and violence contributed to why his tribe went to him in the first place… but, not all of them came with malicious résumé’s. Many of Jack's tribe members came from fear of Jack. Jack was clearly not in the best state of mind. This is just one of the many examples on how people who are physically unstable use violence to justify their actions. “Kill the pig! Cut her throat! Bash her in!” (“Chapter 4.” Lord of the Flies, IDG, 2000.) This quote shows how the boys have gotten violent and it's gotten to their heads. The boys no longer are finding male pigs and looking out for their future meals… the boys are killing sow’s and eliminating more pigs to be
