“Lord of the Flies” by William Golding, is probably one of the most interesting pieces I have read. There’s a bunch of plot twists to the book and I think that is the most interesting part about it. The kids all seem nice and fun, like kids, in the beginning but throughout the story that changes, they begin to “mature.” Violence starts, people begin to take sides, a lot more fear is coming along. The children decide there should be a leader, someone to keep them safe, protected them and make the best decisions for them. Ralph (a child from the crash) stands up and asked who the kids want to be leader him or Jack. They all vote Ralph which made Jack mad at his group. I believe this is where the jealousy and violence begins. I feel as if Piggy

Jack expresses antagonism towards Ralph for a majority of the book, but here the words “viciously” and “full intention” bring an emphasis to his actions that show the contrast between the lack of restraint he shows now compared to previously throughout the book.…
