Since, the founding of the United States violence has become a major problem. American society has become subject to various crimes. Some of these crimes include: the Columbine High School Massacre, the Trayvon Martin Shooting, and the Charleston Church Shooting. Although, violence rates in America are steadily decreasing violence is still a major problem in America. First of all, American gun crimes have continued to claim innocent lives. For example, on April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed fifteen students at Columbine High School in Columbine Colorado.
