It is very important to keep client’s information private. Violating HIPPA is what nurses need to abstain from. The better way to minimize risk for violating HIPPA when using electronic record is to always sign out of the station that you are working in. Emails should also be secured do not use your personal emails to send important or private information regarding client. As for print records, it is very important not to leave information in public areas where everyone can see it. When considering clients charts it is important to put them back in proper place when not in use.
Utilizing trending data for future best practice
I believe that with trending data such as monitoring blood sugars, blood pressures, and vital signs are important trending
