Vincent Van Gogh is considered the greatest artist ever lived. He was a post-impressionist painter whose work was noticed for beauty, emotion and color. However, he remained poor and practically unknown and became an isolated stranger to the earth. Vincent Van Gogh was born on March 30, 1853 in Grout-Zundert, Netherlands. One year before, his elder brother died at birth whose name was given to the new Vincent. However, Vincent’s life wasn’t a happy ending. His illness caused conflicts to the family and to the community. He was neglected by his mother and isolated from society. With this being said, he turned to art after he failed being a preacher. His only escape to overcome his sadness was painting and his passion for arts began to flourish
