"The greatest something that was completed is not in never Falling but in rising again after you Fall" Vince Lombardi. Vince Lombardi was a head coach for the Many teams at the high school, College, and pro level. After a short Time as a pro football player, after graduating from college, he tried to figure out what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. He had a degree in business, so he first tried his hand at that but was discouraged quickly. Next, he thought he would try to get a law degree, but after one semester, he knew that was not what he wanted. He would then work as a chemist for one year, but that also was not something that motivated him with an idea.
He liked being around young people and thought about teaching and coaching.

After leaving St Cecilia High School he would go on and become a helper football coach at Fordham. The prospects at Fordham were not very good when Lombardi arrived there in 1947. the university's football record was so bad that Lombardi believed that his St. Cecelia's varsity squad could have defeated the college team. He accepted the job, hoping that the head coach would be fired and he could take it. Many people at Fordham thought the same thing and tried to get rid of the head coach, Ed Danowski. Popular feeling for Danowski made the plan give bad, unexpected results.Lombardi's reputation suffered after that. The atmosphere at Fordham was ruined for him, and after one year he left to take a job at West Point. Colonel Earl Blaik, the head coach at West Point, was famous for his great training of helper coaches. He was so good that practically every year he had to replace his helpers because they moved on to head coaching positions at other colleges. Black's military control/field of study and natural desire toward the need to do everything perfectly matched Lombardi's personality. After winning the Eastern championship in 1952, (people in charge of something) at West Point decided to make football less important.About this same time, the owners of the New York Giants had offered Blake a chance to take the head coach position, But Blaik turned them down. the Giants, who also needed to fill in the assistant
