If I attended the Villanova University I would make the noun “community” a verb through a combination of service to my community, holding the greater good of the community above myself, and motivating others to volunteer for the community. In my life, I have already worked diligently to make community into a verb through service I have done in helping my community grow and prosper in various ways, be it from teaching the young boys in my boy scout troop morals that will allow them to contribute to the community when they get older or just doing community service myself to make the community a better place for all. However, I will not be passive in making the community a better place by letting my peers take the reins, instead, I will make “community” into a verb by motivating all of those around me to make the world a better place for ourselves and others. Motivating those around me to give their all towards improving the community is not a simple task, but by using my previous leadership experiences and the community at Villanova already based around volunteerism I believe I will be successful. While I could volunteer and attempt to motivate the school community to volunteer at any school, I believe I can make the greatest impact in working towards the greater good with a community that is established in volunteerism.
