Heroes or villains
Many readers of the book the outsiders think that the greasers are villains or heroes. In the book the outsiders by S.E. Hinton the greasers (People that have greased back hair and don’t usually have a lot of money but very smart) are in a war with the Socs (The rich kids that drive mustangs and don’t have strict parents) then ponyboy and johnny go running from the fuzz.One or more greasers can call themselves heroes because they stick up for others they are heroic and they never let anyone down. The first reason that Greasers are heroes is that they never let anyone down for example on (page 148) it says “we are proud of you buddy” dally said that to Johnny when Johnny was dying in the hospital.
