Position paper How do liberals and conservatives feel about abortion? Liberals say that a women has the right to choose what she does to her baby and body. They believe that a fetus is not a human life until birth, so it does not have any rights. The government should fund abortions for any women that cannot afford the procedure. They believe that it’s the women’s personal choice to do as she pleases with her own body and the government has to protect this right of the women.
Conservatives believe that the human life begins at conception and that abortion is murder and that opposed taxpayers are funding abortion. We should not have to fund abortion, because we do not believe in abortion. And that there should

Why do you ask? I am pro-life and I believe that as soon as the baby is conceived and the mother knows that she is pregnant the baby or fetus is a human being like we are. You can hear the fetus heart beat at six weeks. Just because the fetus is in the mother’s womb does not mean it is not a human like the rest of us out in this world. Abortion is murder and that is killing your own child. And God gave you a beautiful creation to put on this earth. And there are many of families out there that cannot have kids and would love to adopt your child. Why kill a baby when people in this world are not able to have kids. Abortion scares most mothers that end up then needed therapy. So abortion kills the baby and not only scares the mother to need therapy but also could risk her chance of getting pregnant again in the future. There are many consequences to abortion from infections to death of the mother. This is why I believe that abortion should be abolished it is a harmful and terrible thing. But I will only agree on abortions and forcibly raped or incest. I agree on that because there are many problems that can occur when there is incest there are many more chances of birth defects to the baby. And being raped is already a traumatizing thing that for some people it will be hard to carry the baby to term, or to raise it. Even if given up for adoption the child may want to know its parent and will find out the …show more content…
Conservatives agree that the second amendments gives us the right to keep and bear arms. In which we have to defend ourselves. There are already lots of gun laws out in the United States. Although all the additional laws of gun control have been added this will still not lower the gun crime rates. They believe that gun control laws do not prevent any criminal from obtaining one. And that more enforcing in the current laws and more guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens means less crime. Liberals believe that the second amendment does not give citizens the right to keep nor bear arms. They believe only the states should be allowed to keep guns in the National Guard. Liberals think that citizens do not need guns for their protection, because it is the role of the local and federal to protect the people through our law enforcement agencies and military. They believe that all these laws are necessary to stop gun violence and limit the criminals obtaining

The Liberal Left’s Hatred of the Second Amendment The Liberal Left is hypervigilant in regard to demanding gun control and registry; thereby, believing that this is the answer to decreasing criminal activity, particularly murder. Statistics do not confirm their belief, since Chicago and other larger cities with “strict gun control” have the highest crime and murder rates in the United States. Champagne socialists (e.g., Hollywood) are on the “guns are evil” bandwagon, considering they live behind high walls with security. Why should they care about real Americans and their right to protect themselves, their families, and defend their home?…

People are known for having sympathetic feelings to a child who is visible over the unborn fetus. However, pro-life activists hold that emotions that cannot form a basis for justifying birth. With the fetus being born or not being born; the fetus does have a chance in becoming a full human being. Viability of a fetus to survive outside the womb independently is when the fetus is able to get that ‘full human being’ status. Abortion also raises ethical issues of character.…

Abortion, in less harsh terms, is the termination of a pregnancy due to reasons of rape, incest, issues with the mother’s health, or just an unwanted pregnancy. Many believe abortion is simply the murder of an innocent life. Over 56 million unborn children have been aborted; that is 1 abortion every 24 seconds. Many people believe that abortion is morally wrong for many reasons. First, life starts at the moment of conception (the mother and father have created a new life).…

Advocates are desperately trying to stop the murder of unborn babies because it is morally wrong. Murdering someone is illegal, so murdering an unborn baby should be illegal, too. An unborn baby is very similar to an elderly person, in that there are quite a few elderly in nursing homes, but we aren’t killing them. We aren’t killing them because it is morally wrong, so why are we killing unborn babies? There is absolutely no reason to have an abortion unless it is going to result in the death of both the mother and child.…
