In 1955, the Vietnam War started and was similar to World War 1. It was the longest war in history for America and about 60,000 American people died. The Vietnam had a lack of public support and America wasn't setting good influential at that time. As war continues Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Truman tried to support this war. The war continued and doing at night causes American hard to find their enemies. Later on war keeps continuing the American now realized that this war should end soon. Therefore the grief tot the American of the ideal of influential foreign policy.
