Video Games Have a Negative Impact on Adolescent Behavior

The boy was playing a video game on the Play Station III 'Grand Theft Auto IV, ' a realistic game that has been known for encouraging violence and awards points to players for killing people, just minutes before the killing occurred (CNN).. The association of violent video games with children is impairing their ability to tell the difference between reality and fantasy. A study done from the National Institute of Mental Health explains how the brain in children of adolescents up until adulthood are still growing and are easily moldable. Young adults and children at this age are close to their peak of physical health, strength, and mental capacity, but, for some, this can be a disastrous age mentally.
