They were expecting to find that when they interviewed or showed images of different types of video games. That their perception of the game would have an emotional effect on them. What they did find was that they were right about their findings and when the participants saw the images and from what they already know there was some type of behavior going on. This goes with my study for the simple fact it is talking about the effects of video games on participants. Though for this study they went a little bit deeper and tried to see if there was a stereotype image of the video games. Limitations was that they should have asked the participants to actually play the game instead of watching a video or pictures and then rating them. It also records and explains why do children to teenagers are playing video game. It describes how parents of the children are affected by them playing these video games. The experimenters wanted to test and see how the information they collected of the youth playing or played video games and how does the adults interact with them playing the video games. What was founded that the results confirm that the pathological game that the youth played was accurate. With it to being measured and the amounts that the youth played on the video games. Limitations for me is also they should have had them play the game and also get the parents in on what was going on with the youth instead of just surveying the youth.
