Video Game Violence There have been many sources in the past year concerning video game’s being a huge issue for children, due to the violence in video games. Many parents believe that their children are learning these violent issues due to these games, but most of us could agree that it doesn’t affect the youth at all. Americans today tend to believe that video game violence causes strange behavior in teenagers including the youth. It is found in Grand Theft Childhood: “The Surprising Truth about Violent Video Games and What Parents Can Do,” that some youth have witnessed one of their teachers as a character that they had murder in a video game. Which might concern critic’s that these video games aren’t teaching your children the right way to educate. However, my view about this is video game designers don’t have the intentions to create everyone in the entire universe. If the youth has ever thought about that then of course the youth shouldn’t play those types of video games. Most say the parents have the power to let their youth play whatever game that’s educational. If that is true, then what’s so bad about a violent game? It isn’t supposed to create a strange behavior for your youth. That’s why there is an age restrictions on purchasing a violent video game.
