In the video, Amanda described many ways that she was bullied but for the sake of this review, only two will be outlined. The initial bullying started when she was pressured into flashing her breast online.
In normal circumstances, that would not seem like bullying but here is the reason why it is.
Peer pressure is experienced in various ways. It can go from teasing, to threats to even abandonment of friends for not following the “in crowd” with doing certain things. She feared that if she did not comply with the demand of the person or persons to flash her breast, (1) she would not have them as friends anymore and (2) she would be deemed as unpopular amongst her friends both online and in school. As we learned thereafter, she complied with the request and was threatened that if she did not do it again, her photo would be released. Unfortunately because she did not her photo was released. The repercussions of that lead to the next type of bullying
